We operate in the foothills of the Little Belt Mountains. The ewes are run on native range and wintered with some hay. Shearing takes place in April and May is lambing time. The yearlings are from our ewes and purchased or raised Targhee rams. The first pen of 10 ewes includes 8 twins and 2 singles with a yearling wool micron average of 19.2. The second pen of 10 ewes includes 7 twins and 3 singles with a yearling wool micron average of 19.6. These yearling ewes were brought in off the native range on August 25th and will grow out to be a very productive set of ewes.
