The Green Ranch has been raising sheep for over 90 years. We have been raising purebred
Targhee Sheep for over 35 years. Our ranch grows grass and weeds. These yearling ewes have been raised in that environment - with no grain supplements. We select our sheep to grow, reproduce and raise offspring in the habitat they live in - and, we expect them to do it well! Using EPDs from NSIP has helped tremendously in making improvements in all areas of production. Our ewe flock fleeces consistently measure 21 to 22.0 microns. All sires are RR.
