These yearlings sheared at 20.1 microns. The flock has consistently sheared under 21 microns for over 20 years. This selection is from a herd band that has been on leafy spurge and other weed projects. The sires of these ewes were ranch raised rams, Hughes Newford and Mt Sheep Co. This flock is one of the earliest Targhee flocks and since its inception has had 3 managers: Dan Fulton, my father John Paugh and myself Jerry Paugh. These sheep have been influenced by years of records, Montana environment, NSIP and the breeding of MSU, Sieben Livestock, McRae, Tunby, Dallas, Carolyn Green and any other Targhee breeder with the GOOD Stuff.
