Wacy Ortmann has consigned 10 head of commercial Targhee yearling ewes to the 2019 sale.  These yearling ewes were shed lambed in May 2018, raised on rangeland, and weaned on September 17, 2018.  They were selected at weaning to be potential replacements according to their conformation and wool characteristics.  From weaning until now they have been range fed and supplemented with peas, screenings, and hay in the colder months.  Shearing was on March 21, flock micron was 19.8 with 60.8% yield.  Our lambing percentage in 2018 was 146%.
