Ewes are run on native range in the shadow of the West Butte of the Sweetgrass Hills. Our ewes are range lambed. We shear in late April/early May and our 2018 flock clip cored 20.9 microns and yield was 57.7%. Rams are purchased at the Montana Ram Sale and are selected based on high US Range Index, large REA, fleece weight and fine wool micron. We see the value of NSIP and EBV's and are offering a premium group of our commercial yearling ewes that are trained leafy spurge eaters.
