Jeanie Green of Whitewater raises strong crossbred lambs getting the best of both sheep worlds! Wow for the triplets out of these Suffolk-Hampshire cross sheep this year! The wethers and smaller ewe lambs were sold at 4 months of age and averaged 96 pounds straight from the ewe to the semi! Reserve Champ carcass at both Blaine and Phillips County fairs; other carcasses placed 4th, 7th and 8th in Blaine Co. Our ewes can withstand drought and poor grass situations, still milking heavy in cold and hot weather and we had both this year in Whitewater! We cull hard for maternal instinct, birth ease, temperament, and ability to stand our tough terrain and changing weather patterns!
