Montana Sheep Company/Brent, Tracie, Ben & Caroline Roeder respect and understand the need for efficiency in the lambing barn. We expect our ewes to be good mothers the first time and every time. Consigned are 10 Targhee ewes from a B. ovis free flock with Sieben, Green, and Skull Creek genetics. Ewe flock wool clip averages 21.6 with a 58% yield. Expect a 175% drop. Ewes will milk well and have good udder construction. No eye problems. All yearling ewes are scanned for eye muscle depth. Registerable, with NSIP data available. Raised with minimal inputs and guard dogs. They were herded on a leafy spurge prescription grazing project this summer. Ewes will have been back poured, de-wormed, and received first vaccination for breeding at the time of the sale.
