Kathy McRae has been raising Cormo Targhee cross sheep for 25 years. Over those years, the cross has proven to be a hardy sheep with very good maternal instincts. The Cormo Targhee cross lambs average the same weaning weights and the same ribeye measurements as their Targhee peers while shearing a 4 inch wool clip as a lamb. Kathy uses aged registered NSIP Targhee ewes to ensure they are out of proven production sheep and Cormo rams from Heinrich Ortmann.
